This Eulogy is partly taken from my beautiful sister Janet's own eulogy to dad on the day of his funeral.
Dad was a husband to Clara, a father to his daughters Jennifer and Janet and his son Christopher.
He was also a step dad to Yvonne and Sharon and a step grandfather to Bradley and Kieran.
Dad was a humble, quiet, witty and a very caring person. He was also a great lover of music, when he heard a particular record he liked he would raise his fist and say "tune"...
Dad was a "jack of all trades" but he was a master of one - welding. These skills that he possessed led him to make many friends as you would often see him walking with his tools in a bag going to do a job for someone, for example decorating, plumbing, you name it he did it!
It was a sad day when dad passed away but I know he walks beside us with every step that we make looking over us. We will always love him and will always miss him.
Rest in peace Dad
No chance to say your leaving, no chance to say goodbye. You where gone before I knew it and only God knows why. In my heart you hold a place that no one can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone. Apart of me went with you the day God took you home. Thinking of you especially today. X X
